ZyXEL India has introduced the advanced solutions, including Unified Access Gateway, designed specifically for hospitality environments including hotels, convention centers and public libraries. These advanced commercial networking solutions that have already been adopted in more than 6,00,000 hotels worldwide is expected to leverage high consumer loyalty, increase revenue opportunities, increase occupancy and improve return on investment (ROI) apart from creating robust security and regulatory compliance in Indian hospitality market.
The new product range was launched by ZyXEL’s Global Head Gordon Yang who was in New Delhi for the purpose. Head of Asia PacificGary Chen and Sales Head- India & SAARC, Madhukar Swayambhu was also present at the launch.
The plethora of the solutions includes Advance Access Gateway (UAG5100 and UAG4100), Next Generation Smart Managed Switches, Layer 2 Managed Switches, WLAN, Wireless Controller and cutting-edge UTM products. The New Access Gateways deliver features with dual-WAN interfaces providing high performance, resilient Internet access for up to 800 concurrent logins while offering the host data retention collection, per-account bandwidth management, and the potential for a new revenue stream.
“ZyXEL has launched these products in India based on rising expectations of guests to hotels, clubs, convention centres, cafes and other venues regarding immediate and strong online access,” said Gordan Yang, Global President for Sales. He added that the products and solutions will greatly benefit small venues beginning with cafes, clubs, food courts, banquet halls to large modern hotels, exhibition halls, transportation stations gaming centres and shopping malls.
Wayne Hwang, AVP of ZyXEL Gateway Business Unit informed, “Since customers of hospitality avenues come and go rapidly with several smart devices (such as a smartphone, tablet, and laptop) and in masses, access management and bandwidth management can create significant challenge for the host. The UAG5100, one of the products launched in India, offers broad, scalable management capabilities including an integrated Gateway and WLAN controller to optimize the management of deployed APs. It is able to facilitate access management in hospitality venues, while offering a revenue stream, and maximizing both uptime and access quality to ensure the utmost customer satisfaction.”
