Zyxel keen on increasing its market share across education, SMB enterprise & healthcare

Zyxel has evolved from a top modem maker to a strong contender in the broadband solutions market and has expanded its Internet access product and service ranges, as well as building new applications for many exciting fields.

Mr. Gary Chen, President, Zyxel India shares his thoughts with NCN magazine on
how the brand has been the forefront of the digitization process and has successfully offered innovative smart city solutions, control room solutions for surveillance and security, and hybrid workplace solutions for the digital transformation of enterprises.

1. Explain the series of high-end Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) Firewalls and how they support centralized cloud management

Ans: Our ATP series are high end advanced threat protection firewalls and protect the organization network from malware and unauthorized application. It helps to keep you business running smoothly without downtime by protecting your network from outside threats. Mainly, it delivers collaborative approach to complex security threats with unified management. The product models we have start from ATP100 and goes till ATP800 depending upon the security features they are providing.

Further, to power network security, we have strengthen the Zyxel security matrix in Nebula (centralized cloud management center) with ATP firewalls on cloud, giving peace of mind with collaborative network defence and sandboxing provisioning. You can get detailed reports for investigations, active monitoring, high visibility of network activities , with our evolving security protection.

2. Tell us the different programs that you have for the partners?

Ans: For us partners are our extended arms and we make sure to have regular communication with them and time to time provide them with best solutions along with best prices. Beside this we provide them with some amazing and interesting partner schemes, regular technical and hands-on-training to their technical teams. We make sure that we are doing several marketing activities with them in order to keep them highly motivated. Under marketing we perform different activities with them like joint webinars, joint lead generation programs, MDF and much more. We also have a dedicated page on our website where they can login and download the sales and marketing material as per their use. 3. What role do IoT and cloud play in the services?

Ans: The future is cloud and Zyxel has already been working in that direction from quite some time now. We will be having futuristic smart cities, smart classes are already in place, smart equipment for patients, so the future will be smart so most of the things will connected to internet and hence IoT play a major role In our solutions. Also, when so many equipment will be there in the market, the data will be huge and in order to keep the data safe and secure – cloud will play a very important role.
