VIVOTEK unveiled the latest release of its video management software, VAST 2. Building on the underlying powerful software engine of VAST, VAST 2 reveals a brand new intuitive user interface and boasts an extended range of user-centered functionalities, including auto setup, advanced search, and custom layout as well as additional add-on functions for failover protection, transportation, and transaction solutions. The new VAST 2 is designed for efficient video management, allowing security operators to reduce both operational and maintenance costs.
“VIVOTEK has run through a series of alpha and beta tests before the launch of VAST 2. We have collected feedbacks from our customers and improved significantly both the usability and functionality to make VAST 2 an even better experience for our users. For VAST 2, we designed a problem feedback mechanism, allowing the system to detect problems automatically and enabling security operators to send feedback manually via a popup window.
