In an exclusive interview with NCN magazine, Supriya Mankame Ast. Gen. Manager, at Gigabyte Technology India Pvt. Gigabyte is a prominent brand in India, particularly known for its leadership in the motherboard segment. Our product range encompasses various components including motherboards, VGA, SLG, power supplies, cabinets, and more. Recently, we introduced the Gigabit Gaming Laptop, a significant addition to our portfolio.

How do you see the changes in the Gaming Indian market?

In the laptop segment, we cater to three distinct categories. Firstly, the Gigabyte series serves as an entry-level option, suitable for multitasking and students. Secondly, we have laptops designed for serious gamers who demand high-performance machines. Lastly, our AERO series targets content creators, acknowledging the growing trend of content creation across different spheres.

How do you educate the end user?

The Indian gaming market has undergone substantial transformations. Over the past couple of years, including during the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath, there has been a remarkable surge in laptop usage, especially for gaming purposes.

Educating our end users is paramount, and our approach is predominantly digital. We actively engage with users through platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Collaborating with influencers and YouTubers also aids in spreading awareness. Offline partnerships remain integral as well. Our “Build with Gigabyte” program, for instance, encourages consumers to experience a complete Gigabyte Component PC setup, ensuring quality and performance, backed by robust customer support.

What new solutions are you planning to launch?

Looking forward, we take pride in our exclusive service setup. With 6 repair hubs and 55 collection points, all managed directly by Gigabyte, we are distinct in our commitment to service excellence. We’re dedicated to expanding this network further, with more collection and testing points on the horizon.
