Recently, they stepped into the surveillance domain with their new range of intelligent network cameras and other innovative solutions. In a discussion with Ajay Kumar Kedia, Director, Techcom Technologies Private Limited, about the company’s performance and company’s initiatives for the Indian market.
How Techcom is performing in the Indian market?
We’re doing very well since we have vast experience of 15 years in this market.
How will you redefine the security market?
The current social environment has compelled one to have surveillance devices installed at their offices or homes but due to in-sufficient information on product people are somehow confused on what to buy. However new products like wireless & IP cameras are ready to hit the market which is quite easy to install with least configuration requirement & loaded with the latest technology and smart features will cause wiping out the substandard quality products so the in- genuine comparison & competition.
Which new technologies existing in the security industry and where Techcom stand in this innovation?
In camera range, AHD, CVI & TVI types are available where as some new types as I mentioned earlier are IP cameras & wireless cameras. Apart from it GSM alarm systems, Video door phones are also there in the market. We at TECHCOM have always been quality cautious and are delivering the latest technology product at the most affordable price which we are committed for. So there is no question where we stand, we are always catering the market with the latest technology & trend.
How are you enabling your channel to earn more profits?
We believe that earning trust is more important than earning money which ultimately makes growing your business no matter what you sell which we already have been communicating since 2001 & succeeded.
How Techcom expanding Indian operations?
Continuously we are adding new channel partners & have plans to establish service centers to cater our valued customers will surely help expanding our business.
What progress has Techcom made in terms of activities and business in the last year and the quarter that has just ended?
Last year we did very well in terms of numbers & revenue and are looking at 30-40% growth this year.
What are your future plans?
To cater the market with latest and innovative IT & security products with our everyday growing strong channel partners & service network.
