Smartlink is committed to government’s call of ‘Make in India’ and has always encouraged local manufacturing in the Indian IT Sector. The company’s legacy of local manufacturing dates back to a time when local manufacturing looked unfeasible which gave Smartlink an impetus. Smartlink Network Systems Ltd. today launched the next generation DG-HR3400 wireless router at its manufacturing plant in Goa. Local manufacturing has always given the company a scope to design and manufacture products that are tailored to Indian operating conditions, which are different compared to other countries – be it how products get transported, how they are installed or under what power conditions they operate.

“Smartlink was set up with a vision to manufacture IT products in India for India. We at Smartlink welcome the initiative of ‘Make in India’ campaign by the government and we want to extend our support by all means that we can. All our products are crafted and designed to bring convenience along with the best technologies for India and abroad,” said K. R. Naik, Founder & Chairman, Smartlink Network Systems Ltd.

“Thanks to the government, the electronic manufacturing sector is now excited with ‘Make in India’ initiative. We at smartlink are geared up to reinvent complete chain of electronic hardware manufacturing starting from design to disposal (D&D). This means we will design, manufacture and will provide entire after sales service along with ensuring environmental safety by proper disposal of e-waste,” said Mr. Nitin Kunkolienkar, Vice-President, Smartlink Network Systems Ltd.

Smartlink announced the launch of DG-HR3400- a IEEE802.11n wireless router under Digisol brand. Upgrading one’s home network to 300 Mbps speed (IEEE802.11n) up from the previous generation 150 Mbps (IEEE802.11g) provides better wireless signal and excellent solution for sharing an internet resource such as video, music and documents. DG-HR3400 is built with intelligent antenna technology to transmit multiple streams of data which enables receiving wireless signals faster. The new launch also includes ‘Quality of Service’ prioritization technology that analyzes and separates multiple data streams based on sensitivity to delay, enabling multiple applications to stream smoothly across your network.
