During an interaction with NCN Magazine, Mr. Rajesh Wadhwani, Marketing Head, Securus CCTV shares his vision about into the company’s commitment to ‘Make in India,’ advanced surveillance products, and the invitations for collective contribution to the nation’s progress.
Kindly brief us about your company and journey so far.
In 2008, I joined Securus, a company embracing the ‘Make in India’ initiative. As an NSIC and MSME-approved company, we pride ourselves on maintaining quality standards with certifications such as BIS, FCC, ISO, and more. Within the Make in India movement, Securus operates a comprehensive facility in Ahmedabad, specializing in the production of surveillance products, including the Purple Series cameras.
Established in 1991 by the Director, K M Ratanchandani with a modest 55 sq. ft. shop, our company has grown into a national force with a presence in ten states today. We are thrilled to announce our latest endeavor—a 1 lakh sq. ft. factory in Gandhinagar’s electronic zone, reinforcing our commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative. This facility not only serves as a manufacturing hub but also houses our R&D center. Notably, all our products, including our self-designed motherboards proudly bearing the Imposed brand, are now produced domestically. Our product range extends beyond motherboards to include cutting-edge solutions like IR displays for cameras, PCBs, and a comprehensive line of cables, including flagship products like CAT6 and 3+1. This expansion marks a significant milestone in our journey towards innovation and self-sufficiency.
Please throw light on your product range and differentiators.
Our product range spans from free megapixels to eight megapixels in IP cameras, boasting advanced features like face detection and vehicle detection. We recently introduced a cutting-edge 5G camera with direct RTMP for seamless YouTube live streaming. The integration of up to 5G cameras allows users to securely store and back up footage in the cloud using storage and Google Drive.
Securus has developed an innovative system embedded in IP cameras, tailored as an ideal solution for educational institutions. This system facilitates announcements in individual classrooms, with the flexibility to make tailored or collective announcements across all cameras. Notably, Securus has played a pivotal role in securing significant border areas, including Jaisalmer and the India-Bangladesh border, through the deployment of advanced PTZ cameras at BSF locations.
Venturing forward, we’ve successfully deployed town surveillance systems, enhancing community safety. Our cutting-edge features include an announcement system allowing real-time broadcasts from the police station and Gram Panchayat. Moreover, our scheduled broadcast feature empowers users to pre-set audio files for timely, automated announcements. These innovations exemplify our commitment to advanced, efficient public safety solutions.
How AI is affecting your market?
In the realm of AI, we’re elevating our basic cameras by integrating advanced features such as face detection and active deterrence. Going beyond industry standards, we’re introducing vehicle detection, typically found in higher-end models, even in our HD cameras. When a presence is detected, an alert is triggered, accompanied by an audio message or an IDO siren. Notifications, complete with screenshots, are seamlessly delivered to you via email or mobile alerts. This innovation ensures that our users stay informed and secure, setting a new standard for comprehensive AI-powered surveillance.
