The Technology Association of Information Technology (TAIT) successfully concluded Savex Presents TAIT Tech Connect 2026, a landmark networking and business event that brought together more than 100 member companies and over 200 participants, including family members, for an engaging two-day experience at Hotel Fariyas, Khandala.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Western Ghats during the monsoon, the event combined insightful business sessions, product showcases, networking opportunities and family engagement activities, creating an ideal platform for collaboration and relationship building.
The business sessions, anchored by TAIT Director Rushabh Shah, witnessed enthusiastic participation from members and industry leaders.
The title sponsor, Savex Technologies, delivered the keynote address through its Managing Director, Mr. Jayant Goradia, who encouraged members to look beyond their traditional business models and embrace emerging opportunities. He shared Savex’s remarkable journey from being a system integrator to becoming one of India’s leading technology distributors with an extensive portfolio of brands and cybersecurity solutions.
HP showcased its latest commercial offerings and partner-focused initiatives. Mr. Gaurav Jaitly presented HP’s complete laptop portfolio, highlighted key differentiators across product lines and shared valuable insights into pricing trends expected over the coming quarters.
The Gala Dinner Sponsor, NPAV, presented its expanding portfolio of cybersecurity solutions. Mr. Sumeet Kela introduced the company’s Krypton range, highlighted NPAV’s significant “Make in India” achievements and international successes, and announced exclusive event offers for TAIT members.
j5create impressed attendees with its innovative range of productivity products. Mr. Himanshu Gaglani demonstrated several unique solutions, including the Speech Tracker and Aero series, generating significant interest and interactive discussions among members.
Bitdefender, represented by Mr. Zakir Rangwala, introduced its new Digital Essential Pack, explaining how its five specialised security solutions can create compelling bundled offerings with laptops. Members also benefited from exclusive event promotions on Bitdefender Total Security.
Networking leader D-Link displayed an expanded range of networking products, PC accessories and mobile accessories. Mr. Sunit Gandhi highlighted several new innovations, with the exhibition booth witnessing strong footfall throughout the event.
Lapcare, the Gifting Sponsor, showcased an extensive range of monitors, projectors and accessories. Mr. Amit demonstrated only a fraction of the company’s vast portfolio comprising several hundred SKUs, many of which were being experienced by TAIT members for the first time.
A specially designed Passport Scheme encouraged members to interact with participating exhibitors and rewarded eligible participants with attractive gifts from Lapcare. Savex, j5create, Bitdefender, D-Link and NPAV also delighted attendees with generous giveaways throughout the event.
An engaging “Know Your TAIT Member” introduction session served as an excellent networking icebreaker, helping members discover new business opportunities and strengthen professional relationships.
While the business agenda remained the primary focus for members, TAIT ensured that accompanying family members enjoyed an equally memorable experience. Carefully curated interactive activities, organised by Keyur Kapadia, created an atmosphere of fun, teamwork and bonding, with numerous prizes awarded to participants across multiple sessions.
The entertainment programme proved to be another major highlight. A vibrant DJ Night and Gala Dinner on the first evening, followed by a captivating musical evening on the second day, kept the energy levels high, with celebrations continuing until late into the night.
The overwhelming appreciation received from members after the event reflected the success of TAIT Tech Connect 2026. Members expressed gratitude to the organising committee and strongly encouraged TAIT to make the event an annual feature.
The event was successfully organised under the leadership of the current TAIT Directors — Parag Shah, Champak Gurjar, Swetal Dani, Samir Mehta, Janak Mehtalia, Jitendra Makwana, Nikesh Jain and Rushabh Shah — with invaluable support from the TAIT office team, Vaishali and Srikant, along with the extended event management team.
