PRIZOR is a fast-growing video surveillance brand, delivering innovative, quality-tested security solutions backed by strong R&D and customer-focused service. During an exclusive interaction with NCN Magazine, Mr. Sanjay Raval, National Sales Head, PRIZOR, shares insights on brand growth, Make in India manufacturing, STQC readiness, pricing, and service-first approach.
When did PRIZOR start, and how has the company evolved over the years?
PRIZOR was established in 2017. We started our journey as PRIZOR Viztech Private Limited with a clear vision to build a strong Indian brand in the CCTV industry. Over the years, we have steadily scaled up our operations and strengthened our manufacturing capabilities. In 2021, the company was converted from Private Limited to Limited, marking a significant milestone in our corporate growth. The biggest highlight came in 2024, when we got listed on the NSE, becoming a public limited company. In fact, PRIZOR is proud to be the first company in the CCTV industry to be listed in June 2024, which reflects our credibility, business strength, and long-term commitment to the industry.
Please brief us about PRIZOR’s product range and what the brand stands for.
PRIZOR primarily deals in CCTV and security solutions, and our main expertise lies in manufacturing CCTV cameras. Along with this, we also have a wider product portfolio that includes televisions and LED touch panels. Our focus is on delivering products that match global quality benchmarks while being pocket-friendly for dealers and customers. As a brand, PRIZOR stands for trust, innovation, Make in India manufacturing, and strong after-sales support—because we strongly believe security products need reliability along with performance.
What are PRIZOR’s manufacturing capabilities and infrastructure strength?
We are a true Make in India brand. We have our manufacturing plant in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, and our head office is located in Ahmedabad. What makes PRIZOR strong is that we have a complete assembly ecosystem within the state itself. We have an entire assembly line, and we manufacture key components including PCBs, as well as product housing. From component-level processes to full assembly, our operations are streamlined and efficient. This gives us quality control, faster production cycles, and ensures consistent product performance across our range.
How does PRIZOR stand out in India’s competitive CCTV market?
India is one of the most competitive and price-sensitive markets. But PRIZOR’s positioning is very clear: we are building a brand that delivers quality + value + service. We target both general channel markets and projects. Our goal is to strengthen distribution and penetrate deeper into India, especially reaching the last mile. We aim to operate at a micro level, even targeting towns with 5,000 to 10,000 population, so that our availability and reach can expand across every corner of India. We believe a strong distribution backbone combined with service excellence is the real differentiator.
What is PRIZOR’s price range for India’s value-driven market?
Our product range is designed for all types of customers and markets. Our camera pricing starts from around ₹700 and goes up to ₹5,000, ₹10,000, and even higher depending on the technology and model segment. In complete solution terms, we have offerings in ranges like ₹20,000 to ₹50,000, especially where advanced surveillance setups are involved. While pricing is always a major concern in India, our focus is on giving the best quality at the most convenient price. We ensure dealers find our products profitable, marketable, and easy to sell. We don’t just compete on price—we compete on value.
What is your view on the changing market scenario after STQC implementation?
STQC is definitely a turning point for the industry. After STQC, the market dynamics are going to change because local OEM and compliant Indian manufacturers like us will get a stronger platform to grow. We have complete Make in India processes and now we are also working on deeper technology integration. We have recently tied up for semiconductor-related initiatives, and we are preparing to test and launch semiconductor solutions for CCTV products. The vision is to build capability where everything becomes in-house, and India becomes the next big hub for CCTV manufacturing.
Have you applied for STQC, and what’s the status?
We have already applied for STQC certification and we are currently waiting for approval. We are completely compliant with STQC requirements—from documentation to processes. In the last few months, certifications have been slow across the industry, but we are confident and hopeful about receiving positive confirmation soon.
What are PRIZOR’s warranty terms and service support policy?
In CCTV, service and warranty can make or break the brand. That’s why our belief is: sales is not sales, service is sales. Currently, we offer 2.5 years warranty and 6 months face-to-face replacement on cameras. Our entire approach is dealer-centric and partner-centric. We are positioning PRIZOR as a service-first company, and we are rapidly expanding our service network across India with multiple service points. Faster turnaround time is critical in this segment, and we are actively reducing service turnaround time and strengthening support systems for our partners.
What are PRIZOR’s future plans for the next 2–3 years?
Our vision is bold and clear. In the next 2–3 years, we aim to be among the Top 5 CCTV brands in India. We are expanding product strength, market reach, and service infrastructure. We are confident the PRIZOR journey will accelerate faster with new technology, better compliance, and stronger channel participation.
Any final message for your viewers and channel partners?
My message to dealers and partners is simple—PRIZOR is focused on service first. If you join us, you will experience the results through product performance, support, and partnership growth. We are here to build long-term dealer success.
