Philips, a global leader in innovative display solutions, provides cutting-edge technologies for the education, retail, and business sectors. In an exclusive interview with NCN Magazine, Mr. Saurabh Bhambhani, Manager Sales and Marketing, Philips Professional Display Solutions shares insights on their latest display technologies and future plans.

What new technologies has Philips launched at Infocomm 2024?
We’re excited to introduce four new technologies at Infocomm 2024. First, we’ve launched a 110-inch 4K display. Second, we’ve unveiled a 136-inch indoor active LED display with a 1.5-pixel pitch, which is an All-in-One solution. Additionally, we’ve expanded our professional display lineup with bezel-less screens ranging from 32 inches to 86 inches. Lastly, we’ve introduced interactive displays in sizes 65, 75, and 86 inches, equipped with Android 13 and 14, and inbuilt education software.

What sets Philips apart from the competition?
Philips is a well-established brand, present in the market for the last 60-70 years. What makes us unique is our inbuilt SoC Android chips, a feature none of our competitors offer. Our bezel-less professional displays, starting from 32 inches, are another industry-first innovation. We are also focusing heavily on segments like retail, education, and transportation, which are experiencing rapid growth, particularly in metros, airports, and schools across India.

How is Philips contributing to the ‘Make in India’ initiative?
We have embraced the ‘Make in India’ initiative, especially in the education and retail segments. We’ve already launched interactive boards manufactured locally and plan to introduce ‘Make in India’ professional displays soon. This aligns with the government’s ‘vocal for local’ vision, and we are committed to supporting this initiative through our education programs and products.

Can you elaborate on your educational initiatives?
In the coming 6-7 months, we’ve planned educational programs in various cities across India, targeting both national and international schools. Through roadshows and direct demos, we aim to raise awareness about our interactive boards, as many are still unfamiliar with their potential. These initiatives will help educators understand how to effectively use these interactive tools in smart classrooms.

How is Philips supporting its customers across India?
We have a network of over 200 authorized service partners throughout India, ensuring comprehensive support for our professional displays and interactive boards. With the growing shift from projectors to interactive boards in smart classrooms and boardrooms, we’re fully equipped to meet the evolving needs of the education and business sectors.

Any message for your partners and potential partners?
A big thank you to our existing partners who have supported Philips over the last 6-7 years. For those who are not yet partners, I encourage you to try Philips products for your retail or education business. Our long-standing partners are already benefiting from our innovation, and we’d love for you to experience it too.
