IT industry veteran Pallab Talukdar has left Fujitsu India. Talukdar is highly regarded in the IT industry and started his career from working with Wipro in the year 1987; Talukdar joined Fujitsu in May 2009 and has been in-charge of Fujitsu India’s IT business since then.
Talukdar was believed to be the first CEO of Fujitsu India and was responsible in building up sustainable business for the company. His primarily role was to ensure customer, partner and employee satisfaction along with managing the P&L. Before joining Fujitsu in May, 2009 he worked as director for enterprise business at Dell for around three years.
He also had a short stint with HP but large part of career–around 18 years–was spent at Wipro, where he launched and led Wipro’s x86 servers business. An alumni of IIT, Kharagpur and IIM, Calcutta, Talukdar, during the last 22 year in the field of information technology, has played a critical role with different organizations.
