A meeting of PACT was held at Amritsar on Apr.28th and was very well hosted by Amritsar team ACTA. The meeting was conducted under the Chairmanship of Gurpreet Singh Sunny. All the representatives from respective district associations of Abohar, Amritsar, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Pathankot were also present. To begin with the proceedings Vikas Narang welcomed the dignitaries present and Amritsar team presented a bouquet to all the Presidents of respective associations. Then Prem Saini, Gen Secretary, PACT took over to proceed with the agenda of the meeting and the following points were discussed in detail.
As per the agenda, Sanjeev Walia, President PACT, shared the latest developments in FAIITA. It was agreed upon in the General House that as and when required PACT will not hesitate to take hard decisions and may pursue its own course of action for any common cause hurting the interests of dealers of PACT.
Chairman Gurpreet Singh Sunny motivated all the present dignitaries to work for betterment of the trade in Punjab & Chandigarh. On discussion on election of new Executive Team the members present therein voted unanimously (by hand raise) for promotion / assigning of new responsibilities to the existing team. After open discussion and getting unanimous okay from all the stakeholders (member associations), Sunny announced Inder Mohan Bhasker (Jalandhar) the new President of PACT. This announcement was greeted upon with cheers by all the present members.
Inder Mohan Bhasker, the newly elected President PACT, thanked all the house for reposing faith in him and assured all the members to work in a transparent manner. Further he stressed upon that all the associate members will have to extend their hearty support to him for achieving the unconquered.
The meeting ended with the delicious Amritsari food served by the host ACTA (Amritsar Computers Traders Association), Prem Saini thanked the hosts for the nice arrangements of the meeting.
