Intel has unveiled its fastest chip for laptops, 5G product for PCs, 2 new processors 11th Gen ‘Tiger Lake’ CPUs, at Computex 2021

Intel, one of the leading chip giants has announced a pair of new 11th Gen U-series chips at the virtual tech event, Computex 2021.  The company also introduced its first 5G product for the next generation of PC experiences, called Intel 5G Solution 5000.

Michelle Johnston Holthaus has welcomed Intel’s Steve Long, Corporate Vice President of Client Computing Groups Sales, and Lisa Spelman, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Xeon and Memory Group, to outline how Intel innovations help expand human potential by expanding technology’s potential. This innovation includes collaborating with partners to drive innovation across the technology ecosystem — from the data center and cloud to connectivity, artificial intelligence, and the intelligent edge.

The chip giant, Intel also has two new, faster 11th Gen ‘Tiger Lake’ CPUs for thin and light laptops. Intel showcased its upcoming 12th Gen ‘Alder Lake’ CPUs up and running in desktop as well as laptop form factors. The new 11th Generation Tiger Lake-U Refresh chips, in contrast, are destined for thin-and-light laptops. This kind of laptops are supposed to rely on the CPU’s integrated silicon for graphics acceleration, and these chips have Intel’s best.

The company also introduced its first 5G product for the next generation of PC experiences, called Intel 5G Solution 5000, at the virtual ‘Computex 2021’ tech event, following the previously announced collaboration with MediaTek and Fibocom. The two new mobile U-series processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics are called Core i7-1195G7 and Core i5-1155G7.

“ We’ve taken the world’s best processor for thin-and-light Windows laptops and made the experience even better with the addition of our two new 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics,” said Chris Walker, Intel corporate vice president and general manager of Mobility Client Platforms.

Besides announcing two new processors, Intel announced the 5G M.2 module for laptops. The 5G module, developed in partnership with MediaTek, will allow OEMs to incorporate a new M.2 card in their designs.
