Barco is thrilled to see its ground-breaking UDX projectors massively embraced by the rental community. The prospect of working with 4K laser phosphor projectors is proving attractive, particularly as the projector was developed with key players from the market itself.
In just three short months, the powerful features of Barco’s UDX projectors have been embraced by dozens of key firms in the rental market. Sales of the innovative solution have been very brisk, underlining the demand for Barco’s powerful new 4K laser phosphor projectors in the market.
“Events live and die on the experience they bring spectators,” says Carl Rijsbrack, VP Events and ProAV at Barco. “With 4K resolution and unmatched colors, UDX really delivers on that front. But at the same time, it is set to become the favorite with event companies as it is incredibly compact and easy to maintain.”
One reason for the projector’s acceptance by the industry is that Barco reached out to the actual users when designing the UDX projectors. “The result is a brand new platform that allows rental houses and venue owners to deliver exceptional audience experiences while at the same time reducing installation time and cost. So they bring a much more exciting experience to their events – and can save time during installation and break-down. That’s quite a combination if you think about it,” continues Rijsbrack.
