Nevales(sunija)Nevales Networks released Internet usage and network security report for 2013. The information was consolidated from its existing customers which largely included branch offices of enterprises and some SMBs from verticals including retail, healthcare, finance and pharmaceutical, IT enabled services etc.

Sunija Rishi, Co-Founder & VP – Corporate Development, Nevales Networks says, “Customer analytics help in bridging the gap between the offerings and the customers’ real needs. It reveals the hidden insights in your customer data and following it, the service provider can go a step ahead to create personalized experiences that win more business while bringing down costs and increasing customer fidelity. With evolving customer needs, we have been collecting and analyzing data of our customers and we strive to know their needs much before they can explore those themselves.”

The key features used include firewall, VPN, content filtering followed by dual ISP load balancing and failover. Approx. 25% have enabled authentication on their device. Antivirus and antispam are not the most popular features in the checklist of the organizations when it comes to securing networks, but there is strong inclination for features which help the employers in structuring the usage of Internet i.e. corporate security policy for blocking unauthorized access, encrypted methods for communications etc.
