“Opening this state-of-the- art facility not only strengthens our in-house manufacturing capability for PC Plus products, but it also helps us drive even greater speed and efficiency, cost savings and innovation so we can continue our rapid growth in the mobile device market,” said Lenovo Chairman and CEO, Yang Yuanqing. “The Wuhan facility is an important addition to our global supply chain, but this is much more than just a manufacturing facility.
By integrating product R&D, production and sales operations in a single location, this site strengthens our core competitiveness allowing us to bring more innovative products to market even faster. We can respond more quickly to market trends, unleash even more waves of high-quality, innovative products to meet customer demand, and capture even more growth in tablets and smartphones.”
