In an interaction with NCN, Mr. Winner Tsao, Sales & Marketing Department, InWin Development Inc, shares their product portfolio, brand strategy, marketing plans and future outlook. Q. Brief us about your product offerings?
Our products vary from chassis, power supply, cooling in IPC server to SI. We have been working with some local partners for SI and IPC server projects and in the past few years, we have been working to develop the gaming market in India.
Q. What are the differentiating factors of your products?
From the perspective of retail gaming, we introduce novelty in our product-line while committing to quality. Applying new material and concepts is one of the surprises we keep offering in the market. Like in our model Alice, the ATX chassis has cloth instead of glass or SECC as its side panel.
Q. How are the Sirius Extreme (ASE120) and Sirius Extreme Pure (ASE120P) ARGB case fans performing in the market?
Sirius Extreme (ASE120) and Sirius Extreme Pure (ASE120P) fans are the extended series of Sirius Loop (ASL120) and Sirius Pure (ASP120). We took the original concept and feature of Sirius and then modified them for higher performance and better appearance. The frame of Sirius Extreme fan is a great hit and we can’t wait to release it in India.
Q. Brief us about your after-sales service plan.
We are blessed to work with our local distributor who is also our frontline partner representing InWin. In some situations, our assistance might not come fast enough due to the time and resource constraints, and this is where our local partner’s strengths serve greatly.
Q. How the new innovations in your field are disrupting the market?
The market is constantly changing. A change may disrupt the market at a specific time but it also brings more possibilities in the long run. For example, before ARGB became popular, the fans or cooling items on PC are mainly single color or RGB. Once ARGB is adopted, all gaming products turn colorful and exciting. The motherboard, VGA and cooling items are able to be synced simultaneously.
Q. What other interesting options do you provide the users?
Let’s take our new chasses AIRFORCE and EXPLORER for instance. They are not pre-assembled at all and that means the users need to build the case piece by piece on their own. It’s a very unique and innovative way but we want our users to have as much fun as possible when they build the chassis.
Q. How important is the Indian market for you?
Before opening the door of retail gaming, we received many requests from the Indian users asking where to buy our gaming products, so we decided to bring InWin products to India so that our users can benefit from the domestic delivery and service thru our local distributor. For us, the encouraging local demand makes the Indian market attractive and important.
