The product-line of Ranz includes computer cables, computer peripherals, computer &laptop accessories, USB products, CCTV cameras and accessories, networking products, switch & splitter, converters & connectors, mobile accessories (including mobile cables, headphones and Bluetooth speakers), etc.

Started in 2004, VR Global IT Business is a New Delhi (Nehru Place)-based provider of IT& mobile accessoriesunder their flagship brand Ranz. They have their branch offices in Lucknow (opened in 2011) and Kolkata (opened in 2018).The product-line of Ranz includes computer cables, computer peripherals, computer & laptop accessories, USB products, CCTV cameras and accessories, networking products, switch & splitter, converters & connectors, mobile accessories (including mobile cables, headphones and Bluetooth speakers), etc. All Ranz products are manufactured in world-class factories abroad and quality is checked by dedicated quality control teams. In an interaction with NCN magazine, Anjani Joriwal, CEO, VR Global IT Business, shares his company’s brand & product policy, market strategy and future plans.

Anjani Joriwal comments, “Our USPs include good quality and affordable prices and we providestrong and attractive packaging using premium materials. We import all our products directly from China from the standard and proven manufacturers. We have a wide range of total 300 products in our product-line. Maintaining long-term relationships is our other merit. Most Ranz products come with one-year warranty.”

Ranz’s tagline is ‘New Thinking and New Possibilities.’ VR Global has its H.O. in New Delhi and distributors in all the major cities of India. They recently added CCTV cameras& accessories and widenedtheir cable range adding HDMI cables 2k and 4k, new USB DVD writer, headphones, Bluetooth speakers, etc to their range.

Commenting on the challenges in the market, Anjani Joriwal states, “The main challenges in the marketarethe increasing competition with many new entrants and the decreasing margins. To overcome these challenges we are banking on our merits of high quality and reputation. We continuously launch new products and adapt to the changes in the market in time. Our recently launched CCTV cameras & CCTV accessories, headphones, Bluetooth speakers, etc are also getting very good response from the market. We are clocking a good annual growth rate and confident of our future growth.”

All Ranz products are manufactured in world class factories abroad and quality is checked by dedicated quality control teams. Ranz is well appreciated for its warranty, pre-sales and post-sales support and service. In addition to quality and price, for the success of any brand or provider, a good supply channel plays an important role. To do well in the market, a provider should ensure proper technical support and motivating margins to the channel partners.

Talking on their channel support and future plans, Anjani Joriwal comments, “We sell only through channel partners– no direct selling. And we have over 200 channel partners. We have well-qualified and well-trained technical staff present in all the major cities who offer excellent service support to our partners and customers. Then our products also have decent margins for the channel partners. So our partners are very much satisfied with us and they are doing impressive business. Currently, our business is growing well and we are happy with our growth and optimistic about our future. We want to establish our Ranz brand strongly pan-India, expand the product range further and improve our business.We want to focus more on selling mobile accessories which still have decent margins. In future, we want to add more products to our portfolio and establish Ranz as a premium brand across India.”
