Greatify, launched in 2021, is an AI-powered SaaS platform offering ERP, LMS, and Exam Management tools to create a seamless, paperless educational ecosystem, empowering students, educators, and institutions.
In an interaction with NCN Magazine, Mr. Dinesh Kumar Poobalan, Founder and CEO of Greatify shares the vision of creating paperless campuses and revolutionizing education through digital platforms.
Could you tell us about the vision behind Greatify?

Our vision at Greatify is to create paperless campuses across India and eventually around the world. We aim to eliminate paper from the educational ecosystem, transitioning schools and colleges to fully digital platforms. Our portfolio includes three key solutions: an examination system, an ERP system called ManageX, and a learning management system called LearnX. The examination system, in particular, is a completely paperless platform where we use devices like Apple iPads and Android tablets to conduct exams, eliminating many logistical challenges associated with traditional paper exams.
What inspired you to focus on education technology?
I spent the last ten years working at NVIDIA in the US, where I was at the forefront of AI development. Over time, I became passionate about applying AI to the education sector because I believe education is the key to driving the nation forward. The idea of giving schools and colleges digital solutions to enhance learning outcomes is what motivated me to start Greatify. I see significant growth potential in the Indian education market, despite the recent slowdown in EdTech. Technologies like AI are now capable of offering personalized tutors and customized learning experiences, all at the click of a button.
What is Greatify’s current focus in terms of education segments and partnerships?
We are primarily focused on the K-12 and higher education segments. In terms of partnerships, we collaborate with companies like Apple, ViewSonic, and Maxhub. ViewSonic and Maxhub are our hardware partners, while Maxhub also supports us on the software front. We offer our proprietary software solutions to both schools and higher education institutions.
How does Greatify plan to personalize education for students?
Our goal is to give every student access to high-quality, personalized education. For instance, after a student takes an exam using our platform, they receive immediate feedback on their performance. This allows them to identify areas for improvement and better prepare for future assessments. We envision a system where exams become part of continuous learning, allowing students to take quizzes and practice tests regularly, rather than focusing on high-pressure, end-of-term exams. This will help them grow continuously rather than being restricted by traditional exam schedules.
Could you share Greatify’s expansion plans?
While we are currently focused on Southern India, we are expanding to North India, with our first event in Delhi. We have also opened an office in Dubai and plan to expand globally, with upcoming events in both Dubai and Singapore. Our aim over the next 6-7 months is to tap into international markets, where we see immense potential for our examination and ERP systems.
What role does Greatify aim to play in government-led educational initiatives?
We’re actively seeking to collaborate with government agencies to provide secure, end-to-end digital examination solutions. Our platform addresses concerns such as question paper leaks by offering a secure environment where exams can be conducted with zero breaches. Although we’ve done some projects with the Tamil Nadu government, we’re looking to expand our involvement, especially in the digital examination space for large-scale exams like NEET and JEE.
How does Greatify promote sustainability?
Going green is central to our mission. We waste enormous amounts of paper during traditional examinations, which is both costly and harmful to the environment. By transitioning to a digital platform, schools and colleges can not only save money but also contribute to a more sustainable future.
