Founded by Mr. Santosh Agrawal and Mr. Sunil Agrawal, Esconet Technologies with their main office in Nehru Place (New Delhi), in partnerships with prominent Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) like AMD, diversified into providing cutting-edge solutions in the crucial domains such as Data Protection, Data Security, Network Security and Cloud Technologies.
In an interaction with NCN magazine, Mr. Sunil Agrawal shares about Esconet’s upcoming ventures, manufacturing plans, mission and vision.
Could you brief us about Esconet Technologies and its journey so far?
In 1998, I and Mr. Santosh Agrawal acquired Electrosys Corporation, specializing in reselling peripherals and cables for computer systems. In 2014, we formed Esconet Technologies. Initially, we focused on distributing PC components and catering to data centers. Then we gradually started manufacturing integrated servers, particularly under our brand name Hexadata, aligning with the ‘vocal for local’ initiative championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It took us two years to establish our manufacturing base and support infrastructure and provide tailored solutions to our clients.
Please tell us about your current products and services?
We specialize in providing solutions for industries and clients requiring large-capacity storage, such as those into CCTV surveillance. One of our flagship products is a 36 Drive storage solution, which can be configured as a single or dual-socket system. Additionally, we have ventured into designing motherboards, aligning with the Make in India program, ensuring that most components are locally manufactured to support domestic production.
How do you position Esconet Technologies in the market?
Our focus lies not just in positioning our brand but in providing comprehensive support for a diverse range of solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of our clients. This commitment to customization and specialized support sets us apart in the market.
What is special about you in terms of innovation?
Innovation is at the core of our operations. Currently, we offer around 20 to 25 models, with the flexibility to customize products to meet evolving technological demands. For instance, we’ve introduced liquid-based cooling systems to address the increasing demand for overclocking capabilities, particularly in compute-intensive environments.
What segments are you currently focusing on?
We cater to both enterprise and government sectors, providing infrastructure solutions that are adaptable to various industries, including manufacturing. Our focus remains on the infrastructure vertical, ensuring our products meet the diverse needs of our clientele.
What are Esconet’s plans for the next two years?
Our vision extends beyond catering to our own brand. We’re exploring opportunities in OEM/ODM business, partnering with third-party brands to offer customized solutions. Additionally, we’re constantly innovating and introducing new products to address emerging trends such as 5G infrastructure and GPU-based servers for AI and ML applications.
Speaking of GPU-based servers, do you see a growing demand for such systems?
The demand for GPU-based systems is increasing due to the need for high computational power, particularly in AI and ML applications. We’re actively working to capture a significant share in this market by offering cutting-edge solutions tailored to specific requirements.
What message would you like to share with your audience?
I would encourage businesses to focus on their core strengths and specialties, leveraging them to create unique value propositions. Success awaits those who innovate and specialize in their respective domains, contributing to the advancement of the industry as a whole.
