How Digisol creates future-ready IT networking solutions to empower businesses?
Digisol is a brainchild of Mr. K.R Naik, who is widely regarded as the father of Indian IT networking Industry and his 5 decades of experience in Manufacturing and IT networking industry has helped Digisol offer solutions that are made in India and are future-ready. Our Chairman, Mr. K.R. Naik has been committed to manufacturing in India since the time domestic manufacturing wasn’t considered a viable option during 1986. Digisol’s parent company, Smartlink Holdings Ltd, is one of the first companies to step into the local manufacturing of networking products. Smartlink’s expertise of 3 decades in manufacturing IT products has helped Digisol become a truly Made in India brand. Smartlink has its operations split into three independent Units – Telesmart, Synegra and Digisol, giving each units its freedom and scope to expand individually. Synegra is into active products and other IT electronics manufacturing and Telesmart is into Structured Cabling products manufacturing.
Apart from your vast experience, what other factors helped Digisol establish its reputation in networking space? How significant will be the role of channel partners?
Our channel partners have played a critical role in positioning Digisol in the market as they represent the brand to the customers. Digisol has been strengthening its relationship with partners by engaging with them and introducing them to the Digisol’s various after-sales-services and programs. Like every year, this year also we undertook various initiatives to engage with our partners. We plan to come up with new offers and schemes every quarter. Besides this, we will also offer loyalty and incentive schemes to motivate our channel partners. In a bid to empower partners, Digisol introduced a new certification and training institution DITT – Digisol Institution of Technical Training for Partners & System Integrators across India. The institute aims to create value for all our Network Engineers, Channel Partners and ISPs by consistently delivering quality training programs which are always in sync with the market demands. Our association with our channel partners has always been extremely rewarding, and we are looking forward to growing with our partners.
How has been the Digisol’s growth after the addition of passive networking products?
In today’s digital world where high bandwidth connectivity & security is an important factor for businesses, having a well-designed structured cabling system in place is very crucial while implementing technology. A well-designed Structured Cabling System acts as the backbone that provides trouble-free & consistent business operations, increases efficiency, optimizes scalability and accelerates return on investment. With applications and technologies like IoT, Cloud, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, SDN and AI gaining momentum, demand for our future-ready structured cabling products has increased. Our structured cabling product portfolio is categorised into two types, one is for the channel requirements used in SMB segment’s applications, with high and consistent availability in the market and the other is for Enterprise Networking applications under ‘DIGISOL ConvergeX’ series. Both the categories offer Copper & Fiber connectivity. ConvergeX enterprise structured cabling series is designed to support the bandwidth-critical applications, the needs of the present and next generation data-communication applications and technologies of high speed networks, and POE-like applications. The series holds UL & ETL certification and is perfect structured cabling solution that would help enterprises accelerate their business and boost productivity. Our DIGISOL ConvergeX series consists of Patch Panel with all solderless connectors for best performance and POE applications. What are your initiatives under for Make in India program?
We aim to strongly emphasize the importance of purchasing ‘made in India’ products that are way better in performance & priced affordably. Our team at Digisol is working towards spreading awareness for more than a decade and this year we have launched a campaign – ‘Digisol – Trusted Made in India brand’ that will help customers & partners make right decisions when it comes to buying IT networking products. We have launched ‘made in India’ versions of our best selling FTTH GEPON products and soon we will be launching series of best selling networking switches that are made in India. True to its proposition of ‘NETWORKING IS IN OUR DNA’, Digisol embarks in this quest to encourage and inspire people to buy made in India products and take a step towards Atmanirbhar Bharat.
What is the Digisol’s roadmap for the coming years?
Our focus will revolve around empowering our channel community. Like every year, this year also we will undertake various initiatives to engage with our partners.
