What’s the excitement behind the latest Dell product launches?
I’m truly excited to unveil our latest innovations right here in the capital city of India—Delhi. Today marks a significant milestone as we introduce our newly simplified product portfolio: Dell Pro and Dell Pro Plus. These lines are designed to deliver performance, efficiency, and flexibility for the evolving needs of today’s workforce.
What adds even more excitement is our broadened silicon portfolio. For the first time, we are offering a diverse range of options powered by Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm across our entire product lineup. This variety empowers customers and channel partners to choose devices tailored to specific workloads and business needs. It’s a strategic step that not only enhances customer experience but also allows us to be more responsive and adaptable to partner and market demands.
What opportunities and innovations can AI-powered laptops bring to work, creativity, and tech interactions?
AI is transforming how we work, create, and interact with technology. Traditionally, AI was confined to data centers, but now, we’re witnessing a shift—AI is moving to the edge, onto our devices. This evolution is opening up new possibilities. By 2028, it’s estimated that over 98% of PCs will be AI-enabled, and Dell aims to lead this transformation.
For our partners, this means an opportunity to deliver greater value to their customers. AI PCs can understand user behavior, automate routine tasks, enhance productivity, and provide intelligent performance tailored to individual needs. Whether it’s real-time language translation, intelligent meeting summaries, or faster photo editing, AI capabilities are becoming intrinsic to modern workflows.
Through close collaboration with our channel partners, we aim to ensure that the right AI-powered solutions are available for every use case—whether it’s enterprise, education, creative, or small business. Feedback from our partners is vital, and with the flexibility of our silicon choices, we’re positioned to serve diverse demands effectively.
How do you train partners on your AI laptop solutions?
Training and enablement are critical for us. We’re currently working with our dedicated training and enablement team to roll out a comprehensive learning framework for our partners. This will include both online and offline training programs, ensuring flexibility and broader reach.
Our goal is not just to educate partners about the hardware, but also to empower them with knowledge about ISV (Independent Software Vendor) solutions and real-world AI applications. We want our partners to understand how to align these solutions with customer needs—be it for productivity, creativity, or security.
Soon, partners can expect structured sessions covering everything from product features to use-case-based selling, and we believe this will be instrumental in elevating customer conversations and delivering more impactful solutions.
What value do AI laptops offer over traditional laptops to justify the price difference?
The value of an AI-powered laptop isn’t just about specs—it’s about experience. While pricing may vary depending on configuration and performance requirements, the true worth lies in how AI enhances user interaction.
