Confederation of IT Associations in Pondicherry announced that it has contributed three oxygen concentrations worth about 3 lakhs on behalf of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry State Computer Association Mr. Udayanidhi Stalin MLA., was donated to Tamil Nadu Government.
These oxygen concentrators will boost India’s efforts in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic. The nation has been hit by an unprecedented second wave of the coronavirus with demands for medical equipment and life-saving oxygen witnessing a major spike.
The team has handed over the O2 concentrators to the Govt of Puducherry Health Secretary, Mr. Arun IAS, PWD Secretary Mr. Vikrant IAS, and Dr. Srinivas head GH Puducherry at the covid war room. Later Dr. Srinivas requested to deliver in GH
ConfediTA TN & Pondy President Mr. K A Prabhakar and ITTA, Pondy President Mr. Gangasekar, VP Mr.Palaniraju and Secretary Mr.Arunraj handed over to the Government of Puducherry.
Speaking on the occasion, ConfediTA TN & Pondy President Mr. K A Prabhakar says, “ We thank Mr.Atul Gupta of Computer Association of Delhi providing the machines. This initiative will help the needy who are in urgent requirement of oxygen during this time. At Chennai on Behalf of ConfedITA TN and Pondy Mr.Rajathangasamy and Sneham, Chennai President Mr. Dilip donated 3nos of O2 concentrators to Mr.Udayanidhi Stalin MLA for GH In Chennai.”
Our association decided to lend a helping hand to the government in today’s situation and provide oxygen concentrations to eliminate the shortage of oxygen and imported three concentrations from abroad for government hospital Mr. Udayanidhi Stalin MLA., Treasurer Raja Thangasamy visited his residence.
Tamil Nadu and Puducherry State Computer Association (CONFED-ITA) has been working well with 2000 members for about 15 years. President K A Prabhakar, Secretary Jeevanandam, and Treasurer Raja Thangasamy are present.
This will continue to treat the Covid patient in the ambulance with this device until he gets an oxygen bed.
