During an exclusive interaction with NCN Magazine, esteemed jury members of the CMDA IT Expo 2026 — Mr. Amit Danayat, Chief Editor of A & I Digest; Mr. Kiran Sanjeev, Senior Director – Professional Services; and Mr. Bharat Gopuskar, Industry Veteran — shared their experience of evaluating stalls and products, while appreciating CMDA’s grand platform that continues to grow year after year.

A Grand Platform for Innovation, Architecture & IT

Congratulating CMDA for organizing the vibrant IT Expo, Mr. Amit Danayat highlighted that CMDA IT Expo is more than just a product exhibition — it is a powerful umbrella platform bringing together architecture, IT, solutions, and multiple disciplines.

He thanked CMDA for inviting him as a judge for the Best Stall Design Competition, sharing that the overall energy and participation itself reflects a “winning spirit.”

Mr. Amit Danayat’s 5 Stall Judging Criteria

Mr. Danayat explained that the stall judging process was evaluated on five core parameters, which formed the foundation of selecting winners:

  1. Circulation planning – stall layout & visitor movement flow
  2. Product display justice – showcasing products effectively
  3. Branding – clear, impactful stall branding
  4. Recall value – uniqueness and memorability
  5. Lighting – presentation enhancement through proper lighting

He added that while every participant gave their best and the competition was tough, the efforts of exhibitors made the expo feel like a “celebration of excellence.”

Serviceability + Trust: Key Focus Areas in Product Evaluation

Sharing a broader industry perspective, Mr. Kiran Sanjeev, who has spent nearly 35 years in IT technologies, stated that his connection with CMDA helps him understand the hardware-computing ecosystem, which is essential for digital transformation and AI-led growth.

He explained that hardware remains a strong backbone for innovation — and unless hardware is optimized, software and applications can’t deliver maximum value. He expressed happiness to witness the “smartness” evolving at the computing side through CMDA’s growing platform.

Mr. Kiran Sanjeev’s Key Jury Criteria

As a juror, Mr. Sanjeev focused on two important factors:

  • Serviceability & customer support of the product
  • Credibility & trust factor — who is the trusted spokesperson/salesperson representing the company

He emphasized that innovation alone isn’t enough — the ability to deliver after-sales service through channel partners is equally critical.

Evaluating Service Policy: Two Layers

Mr. Sanjeev shared that he assessed service readiness through:

  • OEM’s customer-centric philosophy reaching channel partners via training and system integration
  • End-to-end solution ownership, where support and supply chain are handled smoothly

He also noted that in the tech industry, sales is not about glamour — it is about knowledge-based solutioning, where a salesperson must understand:

  • product application
  • technology clarity
  • customer problem statement
  • solution mapping

AI, Innovation & Make in India Steal the Spotlight

A proud CMDA member since its inception, Mr. Bharat Gopuskar, an industry veteran with 35–40 years of experience, appreciated the consistent growth of the IT Expo and shared that the exhibition is getting better year after year — now expanding strongly toward dealer engagement too.

Mr. Bharat Gopuskar’s Jury Focus Areas

He shared that his stall and product evaluation was strongly centered around:

  • Innovative products that are new and relevant to the industry
  • Make in India products showcasing quality local manufacturing

He noted that nearly 20% of stalls displayed something new, making the jury journey exciting and meaningful.

AI — The New Criteria This Time

Mr. Gopuskar observed that AI-based products dominated the exhibition this year, reflecting the market trend and adding fresh value to the expo experience.

A Promising Future for CMDA IT Expo

All three jury members collectively praised CMDA for offering a premium, professionally executed expo platform that encourages innovation, customer-centricity, brand excellence, and Make in India strength.

They extended best wishes to all participants and expressed confidence that the CMDA IT Expo will continue growing year after year, becoming an even bigger platform for new-age technology, solutions, and business opportunities.
