Barracuda Releases Free Public Cloud Network and Application Security Solutions for AWS and Azure

Barracuda Networks a leading provider of cloud-enabled security and data protection solutions, announced it has expanded its Cloud Ready program to offer any organization a free 90-day cloud license for Barracuda Web Application Firewall and Barracuda NextGen Firewall on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure (Azure). These award-winning network and application security solutions are available as pay-as-you-go (PAYG) licenses directly through the AWS Marketplace and Azure Marketplace.

“Migrating legacy workloads or new applications to the cloud can be a significant effort, and many organizations make the costly mistake of blindly assuming their legacy on-premises security solutions will extend to the cloud without considering whether these solutions can meet the unique requirements of the cloud,” said Michael Hughes, senior vice president of worldwide sales at Barracuda. “Barracuda’s security solutions are purpose built to bridge the gap between your on-premises and cloud infrastructures. The cloud introduces new capabilities to scale network infrastructures and application workloads without the same cost and complexity of on-premises equipment.
