ASUS announces enhanced Transformer Book T100 with HDD & SSD

asus30-6-14ASUS announces the availability of the upgraded version its revolutionary 2-In-1 Ultraportable Laptop With 10-Inch Tablet – ‘ASUS Transformer Book T100’. The device will now be available with 2 storage altogether; HDD & SSD in their newly transformed ASUS Transformer Book T100TA-DK005h. The earlier model -T100TA-DK002H was available with SSD.

“With the growth of notebooks and tablets as a primary computing device, the mobility sector is set to see a phenomenal growth in the coming years. The mobility offered by hybrid devices has created a huge space in the market through which notebook and tablet segments are set to magnify further. Our T100 has been a success and witnessed wide acceptance. We are hopeful that the new variant as well will assist the industry to augment further,” said Peter Chang, Regional Head – South Asia & Country Manager – System Business Group – ASUS India.

The ASUS Transformer Book T100 is a light weighted laptop with an Intel quad-core processor. T100 can be used as a tablet and is suitable for everyone at the go. Its 11 hours of battery life adds to its advantage. The new version will have 10.1” inch screen, Windows 8.1 with Intel Atom Quad Core. It will have 2GB RAM and 500GB HDD + 32GB EMMC. “Through our Bay Trail platform, we have delivered an incredibly powerful SoC that delivers outstanding performance, long battery life and a great experience for the people who use these devices,” said Anand Ramamoorthy, Director Consumption Sales, Intel South Asia.

“The previous T100 has been widely accepted and successful with consumers. The result of our long term partnership with ASUS is a breadth of mobile devices that continue to delight consumers, business users and IT managers, like this new and innovative Transformer Book T100.
