ASUS and Rashi jointly concluded the 5th season of the ASUS Rashi Cricket (ARC) League on 8th February 2014 with ASUS winning for the third consecutive year. The matches were held at the Pius College ground, Mumbai and there were 7 participating teams; 3 from ASUS – Gladiators, Giant Lions, Silver Leopard and4from Rashi Peripherals – Guruji, Dhoomdhadaka, Mihir Strikers and Challengers. A total of 12 matches were played between all the teams and the finals was played between ASUS’ Gladiators and Silver Leopard teams with Gladiators emerging as the winners of ARC League 2014.
ASUS Rashi Cricket League is being organized for the past 5 years and provides an excellent platform for the employees from both organizations to meet in an informal setting and acts as a day out for their families as well. The league was witnessed by a very enthusiastic crowd of friends and family members of ASUS and Rashi employees cheering for their favorite teams. Country Head of ASUS Technology – Vinay Shetty and Vice President of Rashi Peripherals – Mr. Rajesh Goenka were also present to cheer and encourage their respective teams.
The event has seen enthusiastic participation from both companies over the years and about this year’s ARC league, Vinay Shetty – Country Head – Component Business, ASUS (India) said, “I’m a big fan of cricket and believe that sports is one of the most effective channels to nourish leadership, teamwork and commitment amongst our employees and also creates a good informal environment for us to interact. The ARC league is one of those annual days on our calendar when we spend time outside of work with our extended team from Rashi. I appreciate Rashi’s participation in this league, as without them ARC wouldn’t have been such an interesting and challenging tournament.”

Every Rashi employee and their family members eagerly wait for this tournament and the success of the tournament is evident by the presence of 225+ members from the Rashi and ASUS family which is encouraging. I would also like to congratulate ASUS for the all ASUS finals and winning the tournament.”
The event served as an excellent platform for the employees of both the organizations to know each other better over a casual day of sports with everyone looking forward to the next year’s tournament.
