AMD released ROCm 10, marking a decade of the AMD software stack and bringing ROCm.AI’s AI-native developer experiences to users.
ROCm AI is designed to accelerate development velocity and performance optimisation on AMD hardware and includes:
- AMD Skills: Bringing curated AMD hardware intelligence and validated workflows directly into supported AI coding agents including Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, giving developers platform-specific guidance within the tools they already use.
- ROCm Hyperloom: An autonomous, end-to-end optimization engine for inference workloads across host code and GPU kernels. Hyperloom profiles workloads, identifies bottlenecks, explores optimization options, implements targeted code changes and validates performance and output correctness – without manual review.
- ROCm CLI & Console: Available as a Technology Preview, ROCm CLI features a stable, unified command-line interface for setting up, managing and operating AI workloads on AMD hardware. It includes the ROCm Console, an interactive dashboard that delivers real-time visibility into GPU utilisation, system health and workload activity.
Together, these updates streamline how developers build, manage and accelerate AI on AMD platforms.
