ADATA Plans to Launch New Advanced Memory and Gaming Products

ADATA Technology, one of the world’s largest vendors of DRAM modules and USB flash drives, provides complete solutions, including memory cards, SSDs, and portable HDDs. ADATA products also include on the go power for mobile devices and the company is now a major provider of advanced LED lighting. In an interaction with NCN, Sachin Sharma, Country Manager – India at ADATA Technology (India) Pvt Ltd, shares ADATA’s company policy, market strategy and future plans for the Indian market. 

How ADATA performed during the lockdown period?

IT companies, to an extent, have been helping the companies to survive and run their businesses during and post-lockdown periods. From the banking sector to the education sector everyone is looking for the virtual work. On the other hand, after the COVID-19 outbreak, online gaming has picked up as a popular option for the stay-at-home entertainment. Our gaming and PC-related products have been addressing these demands well which in turn has been pushing up our business growth.

What initiatives ADATA took regarding in the digital direction?

Our mantra for survival during this pandemic period has been to ‘Move Ahead with the Technology.’ Many companies which ignored the adoption of remote working technologies are facing roadblocks in their business. In many Asian countries, the e-commerce market has already reached 30 to 40% recently. And COVID-19 has forced India too to adopt digital methods. We made our products available on all major e-commerce platforms and we also enhanced the product features and information-availability to make it easy and comfortable for the purchasers online.

What new digital innovations can we expect from ADATA and how ADATA plans to strengthen its market position in the storage & gaming space?

Future innovations from ADATA include 5-gen SSD and gaming DRAM of 5000 MHz. We are trying to connect to the end users through social media, working with reviewers, and influencers to inform and to reach out to customers and meet the requirements. We are also connecting with Gaming Community to strengthen ADATA XPG name in the gaming space. We are committed to providing superior, high-performance and reliable gaming hardware to ensure the best gaming experiences.

What new storage solutions can we expect from ADATA?

We are going to launch a full range of SSDs in Gen 4, with higher speed and stable quality. Moving forward, we will also launch a new version of RGB External HDD, and a high capacity, high speed micro SD cards and pen drives shortly. We aim to be one of the leading ‘MADE IN INDIA’ brands in the country. 

What are you doing to strengthen your channel ecosystem in India?

Channel partners, especially for a brand like ADATA, are brand ambassadors. We at ADATA believe that channel partners are among the main pillars of ADATA’s success. We are furthering increasing our relationships with the channel community to achieve greater heights as partners play a vital role in penetrating the market and enhancing existing customer relationships. Regular engagement activities and training sessions for our channel partners help us to develop strong relationships and work together as a team. We believe that channel partner satisfaction is as important as customer satisfaction. The strong channel network has helped us grow manifold in the country. ADATA makes sure that its channel partners are always motivated and perform enthusiastically by engaging with them on a regular basis. We are planning to organize more partner training session to help them understand the ADATA’s gaming and other products. We extend our full cooperation to them. Our partners have had a good rapport and image in the market.

What are the key priorities of ADATA India in 2020-21?

Since the onset of the COVID-19, the gaming industry has flourished a lot in India opening new opportunities for growth. We are planning to introduce more advanced gaming products in the Indian market in the coming months and years.
